1. Open a new image the size of background you would like. I used 200x200, 16 million colors, transparent, but you can use smaller if you would like.
2. Flood fill the image with the color of your choice.
3. Using the settings below use the airbrush to spray on a lighter color.
Your image should now look like this.
4. Then use effects, artistic, brushstrokes, with the settings below.
To get this image.
5. Using eyecandy 4000, jiggle with the settings below. You can use eyecandy regular, but you will have to make it a seamless pattern later.
Your image should now look like this.
6. Use effects artistic, hot wax coating, using an almost white shade of your main color.
7. Now apply the eyecandy 4000, jiggle filter again with the same settings.
8. Use FM tile tools blend emboss with the settings below to get the final background.
Here is your finished background, it should be seamless if you used eyecandy 4000.
You can use the blend emboss filter again to get a more crystallized look.
Don't be afraid to experiment with different colors, you will be amazed with the versaltility of the filters.
